1. Introduction
Welcome to The Laundry Pilot, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website thelaundrypilot.top (the "Site") and our laundry services, including self-service laundry, Wash & Fold drop-off, dry cleaning, and commercial services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing our Site or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or Services.
2. Description of Services
The Laundry Pilot, LLC provides the following laundry services:
- Self-Service Laundry: Use of our washing machines and dryers on a self-service basis
- Wash & Fold Drop-off: Full-service laundry where we wash, dry, and fold your clothes
- Dry Cleaning: Professional dry cleaning for delicate and specialty garments
- Commercial Services: Tailored laundry solutions for businesses
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time, with or without notice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
If you are using our Services on behalf of a business or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that business or organization to these Terms.
4. Self-Service Laundry Terms
4.1 Use of Equipment
When using our self-service laundry facilities, you agree to:
- Use the equipment properly and in accordance with posted instructions
- Not overload machines beyond their stated capacity
- Check all pockets before loading clothes into machines
- Remove your laundry promptly after cycles are complete
- Leave the area clean and free of debris
- Report any malfunctioning equipment to staff immediately
4.2 Time Limits
During peak hours, we may impose reasonable time limits on machine usage to ensure fair access for all customers. We reserve the right to remove laundry from machines after cycles are complete if machines are needed by other customers.
4.3 Lost and Found
We are not responsible for items left in machines or on premises. Any items found will be held at the counter for 30 days. After 30 days, unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.
5. Wash & Fold Service Terms
5.1 Order Process
To use our Wash & Fold service:
- Drop off your laundry at our counter during business hours
- We will weigh your items and provide a price quote
- You must approve the quote before we begin processing
- We will wash, dry, and fold your laundry
- We will notify you when your order is ready for pickup
- You must pick up your order within 7 days of notification
5.2 Minimum Order
There is a minimum order requirement of 10 pounds for Wash & Fold service.
5.3 Turnaround Time
Standard Wash & Fold service has a turnaround time of 24-48 hours. Express service (same day or 24 hours) is available at an additional charge.
5.4 Special Instructions
If you have special instructions (e.g., specific detergent preferences, delicate items, stain treatment), please inform us at drop-off. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your requests, but we cannot guarantee results.
5.5 Unclaimed Orders
Orders not picked up within 7 days of notification will be subject to a storage fee of $1.00 per day. Orders not picked up within 30 days will be donated or discarded, and you will forfeit any claim to the items.
6. Dry Cleaning Terms
6.1 Inspection
We will inspect all items accepted for dry cleaning and note any pre-existing damage, stains, or wear. We will inform you of any concerns before processing.
6.2 Turnaround Time
Standard dry cleaning turnaround time is 3-5 business days. Rush service may be available upon request.
6.3 Manufacturer's Defects
We are not responsible for damage caused by manufacturer's defects, including but not limited to:
- Shrinkage beyond industry standards
- Color bleeding or fading
- Damage from improper care labels
- Weakening of fabric due to age or wear
7. Pricing and Payment
7.1 Pricing
All prices are listed on our Services page and are subject to change without notice. Current pricing will be honored for orders already in process.
7.2 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
- Mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay)
- Cash
- Coins (for self-service machines)
7.3 Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service for self-service laundry and at pickup for Wash & Fold and dry cleaning services. Commercial accounts may have separate payment terms as outlined in their service agreements.
7.4 Taxes
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added to your final bill as required by law.
8. Limitation of Liability
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
8.1 Customer Responsibility
As a customer, you are responsible for:
- Checking all pockets and removing all items before loading machines
- Informing us of any special care instructions or concerns
- Inspecting your laundry upon pickup and reporting any issues immediately
- Securing your personal belongings while on our premises
8.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE LAUNDRY PILOT, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.
8.3 Damage to Items
THE LAUNDRY PILOT, LLC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Items left in machines after use or on our premises
- Damage caused by foreign objects left in pockets (coins, keys, pens, lighters, etc.)
- Shrinkage beyond industry-standard allowances (typically 3-5%)
- Color bleeding, fading, or running
- Damage to delicate fabrics, embellishments, or decorations
- Damage resulting from following care label instructions that prove inadequate
- Damage caused by pre-existing conditions, age, or wear of items
- Loss or damage to items of extraordinary value unless declared and accepted in writing
8.4 Maximum Liability
Our maximum liability for any claim related to damage or loss of items shall be limited to the lesser of:
- The cost of repair or replacement of the item at current market value
- Ten (10) times the cost of the cleaning service performed on the item
- The amount actually paid by you for the service
8.5 Claims Process
Any claims for damage or loss must be made in writing within 48 hours of pickup. Claims must be accompanied by:
- Original receipt or proof of service
- Description of the damage or loss
- Photographs of the damage (if applicable)
- Proof of original purchase and value (if claiming replacement value)
9. Prohibited Items and Conduct
9.1 Prohibited Items
You may not use our Services to clean items that are:
- Contaminated with hazardous materials (biohazards, chemicals, etc.)
- Infested with bed bugs, lice, or other pests
- Heavily soiled with paint, tar, or other industrial substances
- Illegal or stolen property
- Items that pose a safety risk to our staff or equipment
We reserve the right to refuse service for any items that we determine are unsuitable for cleaning.
9.2 Prohibited Conduct
When using our facilities, you agree not to:
- Engage in any illegal activities
- Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff or other customers
- Vandalize or damage our property or equipment
- Bring pets into the facility (service animals excepted)
- Smoke or consume alcohol or drugs on the premises
- Leave children unattended
- Engage in any behavior that disrupts the peaceful enjoyment of other customers
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these Terms or engages in prohibited conduct.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Our Intellectual Property
All content on our Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of The Laundry Pilot, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.
10.2 Trademarks
"The Laundry Pilot," our logo, and all related names, logos, and service marks are trademarks of The Laundry Pilot, LLC. You may not use our trademarks without our express written permission.
10.3 Feedback
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas for improving our Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute such feedback for any purpose.
11. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
12. Disclaimers
12.1 "As Is" Basis
OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
12.2 No Guarantee of Results
While we strive to provide high-quality cleaning services, we cannot guarantee specific results. Stain removal, for example, depends on many factors including the type of stain, fabric, and how long the stain has been present. We will make reasonable efforts to remove stains, but we cannot guarantee complete removal.
12.3 Service Interruptions
We do not guarantee that our Services will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. We may experience service interruptions due to maintenance, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond our control.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Laundry Pilot, LLC, its owners, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of our Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Any items you leave in machines or on our premises
14. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our Services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Seminole County, Florida. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue in such courts.
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at missarabul@gmail.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith within 30 days of receiving your notice.
15.2 Arbitration
If informal resolution is not successful, any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Seminole County, Florida. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding on both parties.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER: YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED THROUGH INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION AND THAT YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top.
Your continued use of our Services after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using our Services.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving the original intent of the parties.
18. Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver of any right or provision shall be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of The Laundry Pilot, LLC.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Laundry Pilot, LLC regarding your use of our Services and supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
